Mlb 2008
It's that time of year again! Opening Day is just around the corner. I have my eye on those Boys of Boston, hoping for another fruitful season.
Any feelings as to who will pull anything off this year?

I'm a Cardinal fan but there's only a handful of players who I recognize anymore. I'll have to listen to some games on XM to learn all their names and positions. If they don't improve this year, they need to consider getting rid or La Russa. All the other problems are already gone!

BIG Cardinal fan here as well. It's going to be a tough year. We lost Scott Rolen, Jim Edmonds, and David Eckstein from last years team, and our two best starting pitchers are injured and won't be back before July, and Albert Pujols has an injured elbow which doesn't allow a full swing with the bat. On the good side, we have an exciting young player named Colby Rasmus who should provide some great moments when he is brought up from the minors. We also have a strong bullpen, but last year our weakness at starting pitching wore the bullpen out. That can't happen again this year or it will be a very long season. The Cubs and Brewers have both improved, so it will be tough to win the Central. I would say we are a 3rd place team in the Central at best. I'll still be attending the games and cheering for my Cardinals, but it's gonna hurt.

That's who I'm pulling for...
Another huge die-hard Cardinal fan since birth (especially since I was named after a Cardinal MVP when I was born). It will be a rough year of healing and rebuilding but our St. Louis Cardinals have surprised us before.
As much as I hated to see some of the veteran players leave, there are lot's of new hope and young players ready to prove themselves to Cardinal Nation.
GO CARDS!!!

Very true...
I have a few relatives in Houston as well... Nice little rivalry between the two teams...
Speaking of the AstroDome... do you remember AstroWorld Theme Park?
