MLB Second Half

I wouldn't quite call last year a fluke. The cards made the post season several years in a row, and even made it to the World Series in 2004. They have been loaded with talent, but battled through injuries all season long. They got healthy at the right time and put together a run to win it all. I wouldn't call that a fluke. Sorry for the rant, but I had to give my side.

Go Cubbies!!!
Well, the Cubbies won AGAIN today, 1 - 0 after the All Star Break...and Milwaukee lost so they are now 3 1/2 games out of first place!
I also read an article stating that Cubs had the best record in the National League during the month prior to the All Star Break, & nearly the best record in baseball during that same timeframe. They have quietly lit a fire since getting rid of Barrett after his fight with Zambrano in the dugout.
Man I love the Cubs, ALMOST as much as I love my HHR! (& my wife and dog, of course!)

No need to apologize...just defending your team...I just happen to think the Tigers froze in the big show last year...I think the Cards only won like 83 games in 06??
I would like to thank them for their part in the 04 Series though

hahaha, THE $64,000 question!
Moved from STL to KC to turn a long-distance relationship into a short-distance relationship. She and I have since gone our own ways. My plan *was* to move back to STL in time for Opening Day this season, but my T-Bird more or less died and I ended up getting Punky. So that's where my money's tied up at right now.. I'l eventually make it back to STL on a permanent basis.
