Well to me a car is like a human,if you do not take a bath for a month guess what, your going to stink! Anyway you have to do maintenance and take care of it no matter what ever make they all have flaws ,like they say either pay me now or pay me later

86k on mine and it's virtually trouble-free. Even the moon roof works like it should.

forums have lifespans just like cars do. This forum is entering into the stage where warranties are expiring, so this forum for alot of people will be the main resource for help. The next stage, which probably wont happen for another 4 or 5 years, is when the frequency of major repairs and big maintenances start to increase. This will cause people to get rid of the car in droves. Then only the people who really love the HHR will own them. this will the cause the number of regular posters to go down, but the people who remain will be really knowledgeable.

145,000 miles or 234,500 kilometers, still love the car, have gone thru most repairs and fixes, you'll have to have a big wrecking bar to pry this HHR out of my cold dead hands!!!

Amen Oldblue!

I fully intend to be one of those old coots at car shows in 30+ years explaining what HHR's are to the kids who flew in with their shiny new Atomic Powered 2043 Hov-O-Coupe's.
