Cool My new daily driver.

My new daily driver.

Yup, Bob is to become a week-end car and none too soon! Sometime yesterday someone took a dime sized chunk out of my rear bumper.

We had been planning for this for a while, just waiting to see wnhat my new job would be. Got a 2007 Mustang, V6, 9500 miles. Paid 18K.

Thanks. Put 100 miles on it today, ALL with the top down and still got over 26MPGs. I can live with that.

Hey GDZstang...

Nice ride, dude...

Thanks for calling me on my lunch to see the new top-less horse. Good thing you called when you did since I was just heading back to the office. Looked nice there in the Target Parking lot.

You'll have to stop by my house sometime and show it to my gearhead neighbor. He just purchased two new Mustangs including a new Shelby 500 series.

How I wish that were true. Saddly, business is so non-existant, that we may just shut it down.

This was bought because my new job is in an area where I wouldn't trust my HHR. Bad neighborhood, plus a parking garage; never a good combination!

Mike, I think we're wired the same. I've been looking at a drop-top '07 'stang all summer down the street. Problem is that the HHR would have to go too. I just can't do it when I only have 18 months to go on payments for the HHR.

I can't imagine that car is going to stay stock for long...

And HHRMom believed this? That's not really what I'd consider a "beater". Won't belong and you'll be driving HER HHR to work!
