My SS will soon have a new home.

Well my SS will soon have a new home. Probably in the next few weeks or so. I just signed the contract on Thursday for 13,500.
This is great news!

i^i

Oh and by the way, by new home I mean a roof and 4 walls to park under.

I just signed the contract to have a garage built. I was originally going to go with a very basic garage and then after some long difficult negotiations with the wife, we decided to go all out and designed a palace for the SS and her Terraza.

My poor SS has been parking in the elements since she was new, and the parking situation in my neighborhood has finally gotten to the point that when I get home from work there is absolutely no place to park within 1 mile.

Hopefully the weather holds out so we can get the concrete poured before we see winters full wrath.

I will post pics of the progress and the final product once construction begins.

Think about it. I just put a coat of polish on mine this evening in the garage. It would be pretty tough to do this outside in the dark. The usefulness is limitless. The only thing you may encounter is the wife complaining about spending too much time out there, but they get over it (alot of worse places to be).

Enjoy!

Alot of people do this when they have fenced in yards. Allows access from the road to the garage for vehicles and then from the garage to the yard for lawn mowers etc.

BTW, congrats on the new garage

Congrats on your new garage, I know the feeling, I built mine 25 years ago and I finally get to park inside and not scrape windows after my last child moved out this past summer.
