I also feel your pain.. I use the Magnetic trays ChevyMgr posted.. I have several of 'em..

I am glad you found the traveling bolt..

But I must thank you for taking the time to type out the whole ordeal. I couldn't stop reading it..

And your paint job & decals look Great, & I'm sure your main shop looks great now too..

i have a mat with magnets in it for bolts and what not. but thats one thing about the hhr if you drop a bolt or socket it goes to never never land
