Gal I know in Nova Scotia on the wagon forums is restoring a '68 Beuamont wagon. Quarters are bad. She's trying to buy a good body from a yard in texas....

Wow...
Wierd proportions. Never seen this one before. First thought, based on the appearance of the front 2/3rds of the vehicle was something from the Swiss coachbuilder Monteverde. No luck there, though.
And why are there louvers in the trunk lid?

speedwagen nailed it, Tatra 613 with a rear mounted air cooled hemi V-8, they were the hot rods of the world behind the Iron Curtain.

OK now who can identify this cheerful little car with the smiling face?

Never had that kind of ambition myself. I like to keep things as close to original as possible. I bought a 72 Chevelle SS about 12 years ago with plans to swap in a 454 but found 2 build sheets in the car confirming it was a REAL SS with matching numbers, so I left it alone...

Well its a contemporary of the '55 Ford, but it has a body more in common with a '55 Corvette...hint hint.

Close enough Marshall, its actually a Trabant 500, the model that succeeded the P50....but fancier if any East German car could ever be called "fancy".

So do you have an obscure car for us tonight?
