"Name that car game"

Well its as obscure as it is beautiful, because it was "lost" for decades. It the 1957 Corvette Ghia Coupe, built on a stock '54 Corvette chassis and bodied by Ghia. The car was "found" in Portugal back in 2004 with just 3,800 miles on the clock, the bodywork is hand hammered aluminum originally finished in coral pink with silver side flashes. That Ferrari-esque front end promises more than the car could ever deliver since the engine is a stock triple carb Stovebolt six coupled to a two speed Powerglide.
Being that you sussed out nearly everything about the car, its your turn Krash.

Well what can I say but my information identified the builders of the car in question as Carrozzeria Ghia SpA in Turin Italy. It seems that once again I was in error as to the exact provenance of the vehicle, sorry for the mistake which is my second and last as its time to retire from the game.
I pride myself on accuracy and these errors are something that I take personally and find terribly disappointing, so I'll leave it to you, have fun.

Its the DAF 55 Siluro. It was a silver wedge of a car with a 1.1-liter Renault engine and a stepless, fully automatic transmission. An odd little car from the Dutch truck builder, pretty far out there in its day, pretty far out there still.
