I know this car! I can't quite remember it right at the moment. There a cool story involving the headlights how they were added few years after the car was built. It was owned by a car designer, auto maker or famous person, I can't remember which. I have to think about it for awhile.

Designed by Edsel Ford / Model 40

I knew that I was familiar with this car. It's not a 1940 its a 1934 Speedster not designed by Edsel Ford but by E.T. Gregorie for Edsel Ford and sold in 2008 for $1.74 million. The headlights were changed from their original. here is a link to the article confirming the year and who designed it. Interesting Click here

Ok so my car was a model 40 speedster made in 1934 and the info I had said it was designed by edsel. So it may be a tie. I let you guys figure out who to go. It doesnt matter to me.
