Oh I can be tripped up, this particular beast (1970 Monteverdi Hai 450-SS), flummoxed me on an old "Identify The Car" game we had going back in 2011.

Don't remember them making the Crosley during the war, but shortly afterwards. Referred to their engine as being made by Singer, as in sewing machine. Very sweet Darrin too bad it only had the flat head Continental 6 cyl engine.
Grimesy, old guy that feels like the war just ended (By the way it was the last one we won).

The first Crosley was built in '39, but they probably ceased production during some of the war years, like most auto companies.

1948 Thames Panels. I don't like the wheels and tires on the unpainted one. Take the wheels and tires off the red one and use them instead. So much better looking. IMHO.
