guess I'll start...why not...Richmond this week, 3/4 mile oval with 14degree banking...fun track IMO...Saturday Night Racing !!! TV time is 7pm on FX this week...so who do you think is gonna take the checker flag this week....
heres my top 5 (in no order)
Tony Steward (he seems to be all hooked up these past few races)
Kevin Harvick (RCR has found their mojo, finally)
Dale Jr (sorry but I'm Jr fan, so you'll see his name on my short list every week )
Greg Biffle (if it wasn't for bad luck he'd have no luck at all, as the saying goes)
Kasey Kahne (no words of wisdom from me , just a good solid driver)

I'm a huge NASCAR fan...and don't miss a race on television. I've been a Dale Jarrett fan since I started watching in 1997...however, I also like some other drivers as well...with Tony Stewart being a very close 2nd. I went to the Richmond race in Sept of 2000 and that's a great track. Also went to the Coca Cola 600 last spring at Lowes (the 1st race after the levigating). Had a great time...but an awful lot of cautions. My boyfriend was a Dale Earnhardt fan from the time he was a rookie until he was killed at Daytona and after much thought he is now a Jimmie Johnson fan.
My picks in no particular order this week are:
Tony Stewart (he's definitely running well this year)
Dale Jr (he's due for a win)
Kasey Kahne (he's on a roll too)
Kevin Harvick (think he's finally got things turned around)
Brian Vickers (he's due for his 1st win and he's been running consistently)
Love the idea of this thread and you can count on me to keep it going.

Long time Terry Labonte fan but now I'm lost for a fav. driver. I've been to Richmond twice in the past 2 years and it is a great track to see a night race. Went to Martinsville this year and will be hitting Bristol for the spring race in 07.

Guess I'm lucky. I live in 3 hour proximity to 4 major tracks. Bristol, Charlotte, Richmond and Martinsville, being the closest at only a quick 40 minute drive. Used to be 5, but Rockingham shut down I don't get out much to the races like I used to once Dale Sr. died. It kind of killed the sport for me in a way I guess.
