Hey El Guapo...that's a cool setup you have there. I've got a steering wheel setup too...but haven't used it much since I got the HHR.

Why not try out for Yates...they suck right now and surely need some help. That organization is in deep doo doo and will hopefully be able to get it together for 2007. When you have 2 big name drivers like DJ and Sadler bail on them...you know something is mighty wrong at RYR.

Imagine putting a Cup Series engine in an HHR. I bet that would help Yates out. You should mention that when you try out, El Guapo.

 

Yep...I don't think Roush has anyone who will be well suited to take over the ride. Besides...you can tell by Mark's comments that he'll probably be around another year.

 

We've got a guy here who owns and HHR and is a NASCAR engine builder...user name is HotRod. HERE is his original post. He's already pulled the engine out of the HHR...but haven't seen him post a whole bunch, but he has said he was going to try and make the Mid Central Run.

Greg Steadman, on an interim basis, will take over the crew chief duties on the #43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge driven by Bobby Labonte effective immediately. Parrott has years of experience at RYR and helped lead the organization to a championship with driver Dale Jarrett in 1999. Steadman is no stranger to the crew chief position. A long-standing employee of Petty Enterprises, Steadman is known as one of the top mechanical minds at the shop. Steadman will work hand-in-hand with Loomis, who will take a more active role on the #43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge.
