Need help with posting a picture
I have a picture from a web site I want to paste for the numbers game but don't know how to do it.
It's now in my download file but I can't move it to show on this forum.
Thanks

You may be able to do it by "attaching" the image (the paper clip icon).
They have changed things again since I wrote the tut. (It's been edited now).
It's the yellow "mountain" icon.

Posting images
Usually to link a picture from the internet (does not work if picture is on your computer), You'd copy the URL to your clipboard (high lite URL, right click, "copy"), paste the URL where you wish the picture to appear in your message / post. Then add the BBcode tag [img] to the front of the URL (no spaces) and [/img] to the end (again, no spaces.)
here is the example of image linking from the ChevyHHR.net BBcode page.
(Gotta zoom in a bit) hope this helps you out.

The picture icon basically does that.
The gallery doesn't give a "direct link" code anymore.
But, I just discovered that it does provide the Img code, so you don't have to use the inset picture icon. Just copy and paste.
I don't know why but I couldn't make it work yesterday.

What I did was click edit then change "url" to "img" on both ends of the link. The ones inside the[] [/].
In the second instance; I cut the link; everything inside the then clicked on the mountain, a dialog box popped up withh http in it highlighted, then deleted that and right click and pasted the link.
The result should be [img]http:/xxxxxxxxxxxxx[/img] (http/: should only appear once)

Think I got it now.
I understand now, when you use the "mountain" it want's you to paste the url and/or img after removing the http that is shown in the box when you first open it.
Thanks
