New global Chevrolet Colorado coming here in 2013.

It's looks like a POS Tacoma or Ridgeline... RIP Chevy Colorado.
I have spent a few years working and building on mine and my wifes 2005 Colorados. I have an Xtreme and she has a Z71. The Colorado that is out now, is a great looking truck. This new model coming out is a Korean joke.

If there are any joke on the new truck they will have to be Brazillian as this truck was mostly done by GM in South America and GM North America helping.
GM is only selling this in Asia first and then in other markets. It has nothing to do with where it was designed.
Note GM is now truly global and most cases now and in the future new models will be done in at least 2-3 of GM's global divisions. If the car is to be sold in a market most not all will have some imput. Example the Buick Lacrosse was engineered in Detroit but styled in China. The Chevy Cruze was done in Germany, Detroit and Korea. The Camaro as we all know was done in Detroit and OZ. THis is how most of the new product will be.
The cars GM sells here will be the same cars sold else where with only some engine and tuning changes for each market. GM has been selling them in the overseas markets first to work out the bugs and then into them here with few first year issues. The old joke not to buy a first year GM car is becoming a thing of the past. Most Asian companies have done this for years selling first in their home markets and then the US market. That is why they have few start up issues here. Thier home markets are very nationalistic and they are more forgiving. They buy few 4n cars there.

Isuzu only 'helped design' the GMT355 platform because they designed the engine. The truck itself was designed by GM North America and parts by GM Brazil. It was based off of the full size Silverado at the time. Chevrolet has always done this with Isuzu on the S series trucks, hence the Hombre.
The only good thing coming out of the new models is the rumor of a turbo diesel. Other than that, it is garbage.
And I will get 'loud and proud' on nationality if I please. I bleed red white and blue, and nothing will change that.

I like the styling of this truck, I also liked the styling of the Colorado for the most part, and the styling of both generations of the S10 (I owned two 1st Gen pickups and a 2nd Gen Blazer).
It's taken a while for me to get used to the brand identifying grille styling on all Chevys, I still haven't fully embraced the styling of the grilles, I've just gotten used to it.
I think this truck has a nice progressive style to it.

While you may love the truck you have sales number speak well of what kind of truck it is. THey failed to do what GM needed and came no where near what the S 10 did for GM.
Like the new truck or not it will not be hard to improve on the present. Before I endorse the new truck fully I will have to get in it and drive it. I was fooled on the Colorado already.
I buy GM trucks and the fact is with near all companies they are now global. Your truck may be built in TX, LA or MO but it will have work done by many of the GM division world wide. THey now work as one not as single small division.
For me to say the new truck is the best and you to say it is crap is a little premature. In fact it is ignorent. You don't have to like it but one needs to be fair. The present truck is lacking in many areas and it is well documented. I would hope based on the many new improved GM models this one will find the same improvments.

The new Chevrolet Colorado is one of the most anticipated cars for 2013. The built up of the car is really amazing. Nevertheless, the next generation GMC Canyon, according to the company, is not going to be a re-badged Chevrolet. The business will deviate from its regular formula a bit, by producing its own light pickup from the beginning.
