New Okie on the forums...
First Question:
Where is this "introductions forum" the Banner tells me I should say hello in?
Technically, I'm not yet an owner. I've got a 2008 2LT sitting outside in my parking spot, but I've yet to lay down anything for it, so this may be premature. I've already had people hitting the office asking "who's is that?"
Gotta say, I went in the dealership yesterday armed with all the info found on the internet (much of it found here) and I feel that I can haggle a great price from the dealership. So props to the membership of ChevyHHR.net, there is some GREAT info here.
If I buy the HHR, this will be my first NEW car purchased. I drove it off the lot last night with 31 miles, I've already put that much and more on it. The boss likes the car, and that's always a plus.

It's a nice ride, feels substantial without feeling big. Handles well, Gas mileage is great (avg 29 so far on the first 10 gallon the dealer put in for what it's worth) Creature comforts out the wazoo on this thing. Reasonable cargo space for the size and this little car has style. It's a niche ride for sure, but I see that niche getting bigger.

While I didn't get the one I first picked out, I did get an HHR. A loaded 07 2LT.
This thing was owned by a local GM employee (before they closed the plant) and he traded up to an SS. As a matter of fact, he worked at the dealership I bought the HHR from.
I love this car.
