New/Old Ripper project

First of all, is there anyone working on a Road Ripper?
If so, are you having fun yet?
If not, Why not, it`s fun.

Ok, sitting around here, bored out of my gourd, looked over at the Cruck Bros. (on display), and thought, what next?
I haven`t been able to find a R/R to start a fresh project, so Hmmm, what if I make the Safari Wagon steerable? They come originally able to (so to speak) "Dance", and play music. Lights flash... Not very entertaining, in fact, none of the Cruck Bros. still do those things. Boring...
Enter another victim/donor, yet another PT Cruiser in the collection I have, pre-dating the HHR, shall give itself to the betterment of the HHR fans, a Motorized, steerable, w/engine sounds, Road Ripper. Hopefully .

This is a FULL size Ripper, I`m stretching the chassis right now.
Non-Nitro though... That 06.

hey why not just get a nitro or a electric 1/18th scale RC car and use the cassis and make custom body mounts! I would do it if I had some cash lol.

Mixed feeling...

Well I`m sorta disappointed, The good news is that the Safari Wagon is now a remote controlled veh..
The sad part is, it only took about (12) hours to accomplish, Dang-it. Now I`m back to square one, bored.
So now Mrs. B/B & I, will go out in the cold, to look for a good surface, so I can take some video to post

I submitted a video, awaiting approval from admin. now. Hope it`s up soon.
I should`ve done a pictorial of this (now that I think about it), because once again I had to stretch a chassis to fit the HHR body.
And the wheels from the HHR had to be modified from a straight axle config. to a steering type.
The PT chassis was a good platform, but thinner with splines for support, which had to be recreated, since I didn`t want to have half a ride left behind on the road test...
But stopping to take pix is as much work as building the model. The area has to be sorta clean/presentable, I have glue and stuff on my hands, and I have to stop in the middle of a process to take the darn pic.
But, if someone wanted to do one, I could start another, I have the twin PT(different freq. for racing, when I could get my son to stop long enough to play with his DAD, when he was younger of course) sitting on the shelf, sorta shaking/nervously.
