Talking The Nissan LEAF wave from the Colbert report...

Whether you agree with Colbert or not, this is funny. Nissan is taking suggestions on the official "Wave" that LEAF owners should use to say "hi" to each other in traffic. Last night's Colbert Report had an interesting take on this, you'll love the "PT Cruiser Wave" just past the two minute mark, I howled at that one. Click the link below for the video, enjoy.

Yeah, right. Leaf owners are posers anyways. No waving from me, either.

I the Volt, but the Leaf, not so much.

It is simple just hold your hand to your forehead in the shape of a letter L as you pass them by waiting on the flatbed to take them were they can recharge.

I have read several long term test on these cars and most of the people have run short on power as they never know how far they can go from day to day. Where they drive how they drive and how cold it is can make them vary from 60 Miles to 115 Miles in range.

I am not going to say it is a bad car but it is just not a car for most normal drivers till they improve the the batteries more. The Volt while not a perfect electric only option will not leave you stranded. Even if you run out of gas it will go into the electric reserve for a few more miles.
