Shop being busy, 'usually' means they are doing something right.. I would worry more about an empty shop..

My thoughts exactly sleeper lol. I just can't wait to get it in the shop and have it fixed. Only 5 more days to go!

Well my car finally went into the body shop today to get fixed. :) They gave me a 2013 Toyota Yaris LE as a rental car. Honestly I could think of a lot worse things to be driving and I can't really complain cause at least it's a car to drive until mine is fixed. On the plus side I can pretty much park this thing anywhere lol. That being said I still can't wait to get my car back and not have to look at that scratch anymore.

A Yaris, you can almost put them in your pocket.

I hope the repairs are done quickly, competently, and to your satisfaction.

Post up some "after" pics when you can, and don't let the Yaris' 106 throbbing horsepower go to your head, we'd hate to have to bail you out of the pokey.

Haha this is true Mike. As for the repairs they were done quickly and to my satisfaction. I brought the car in on Monday and picked it up on Wednesday. So I want to give a shout out to Bumpus Body Shop in Clarksville, TN for doing such a fine job on my car. I was definitely happy with the work they did. I will try and get some pics up later this week while I'm on vacation. I was going to try and do it this past weekend, but we were without internet most of the weekend so I didn't get a chance to. Don't worry I didn't let all 106 horses go to my head lol, but I must say for what it was it had a little pep in its step. No need to bail me out of the pokey though lol.

Glad to hear you're back on the road, and that the body shop did an excellent job. Too often we hear horror stories here, it's nice to hear of a good outcome.

Thanks again Mike and I'm glad to be back on the road too. I know I've heard my fair shares of horror stories from body shops as well so I'm definitely happy they did an excellent job on it. Also as requested here are some new pics of how it looks now that it's fixed. Sorry it took me so long to get around to doing this, but I was too busy enjoying my vacation lol. It was kinda dark when I took these so I do apologize for that, but I still think they turned out alright.

Looks like they did a fine job, metallic paints can be a bugger to match.

Hopefully this will be your last run in with someone who's family tree doesn't fork.

I had a similar windshield crack in my HHR. The HHR was in my garage and when I looked closer I did see a small chip (stone chip?) right on the edge of the glass and the crack started there. Insurance picked up that expense. A couple of years later, the windshield cracked again an it was replaced (#2) and insurance picked up that $. Last year the windshield was hit with a small stone and got a small bulls eye chip. I called Safelight and had them come out and do their sealing service. I paid for the job as I didn't want to get a reputation with the insurance company for multiple windshield replacement.
