Hmm..idea..great for a ricer..the ultimate CAI...take above setup,,reroute thru pass firewall...and set intake filter into A/C airbox with fan on high.....

Believe it or not, this VW Golf is NOT a junk mobile. This was available for purchase from VW in '96 and is known as a Harlequin golf. I've seen a couple here in NJ, and saw another in Colorado. They tend to appeal to hippie/artist types:

Yep, there is a Harlequin Golf that cruises around Charlotte, always gets a "what the hell?" out of me even after seeing it a couple dozen times.

Really..... it reminds me of the Partridge family buss. Looks like the VW Polo I had when I was in Germany.
