This one is for TomsHHR

This, and several other pictures, have been circulating through e-mail. I thought Tom and maybe a few others could Identify with it.

It's obviously a BMW that hit a deer on the Autobahn. The deer weight is 140# and the vehicle was traveling at 100+ MPH.

Note: I selected the most "acceptable" picture of the group. Some are pretty gruesome. If you are so inclined, I can send you the other photos, if you PM me.

You know......

It just occurred to me. How did they determine the weight of the deer???? I mean, it's obviously in pieces and some had to be missing.

JoeR...as far as the engine: I can't say. It is a convertible and it could be any one of about 5 models and 8 engines.

Maybe the BMW knowledgeable people can help.

thats new to me... what does the hood look like? I dont see how you can fit a whole deer through the hole in the front of the car... it must have been a small deer.
