Making the port holes fully functionable is an option.
I like the way they looked on a Black Beauty's HHR.

Non-Option !!!

Putting "REAL" holes in my wifes HHR is a non-option.
If it was my `89 Caravan, she would gladly help...

Can you define that point you describe? Or is it just your definition of what you don't like? I have seen many Harleys modified with accessories to make them different so the owner can be assured his is not like anyone elses and never did the owner think he/she went "too far".After all,it was his/hers to change as he/she saw fit.I think some of the HHRs you see on this site are the same way.He/she just wants to make their vehicle different than anyone elses.I see no "fine line" there.Just my two cents.

The fine line is best seen and not heard.

Caddy,GM had the intention of these vehicles, as with many of their new designs, to be personalized by the owners. It is a matter of choice and
I will say that I see fine examples of clean, subtle modifications that definitely benefit the original design. If a person wishes to leave their HHR stock, cool, if they choose to modify it, cool that is why when we put on a show we have trophy classes to satisfy the masses...The true point is some jerk vandalized B/B truck and it stinks...

I thought your look was really cool, and am sorry you're not going to put it back on... "is that your final answer?"

If my veh. is gonna be put in harms way (and I beleive it will be) I don`t think it`s in my best interest to purchase more only to have a repeat occurence.
I liked the look, just as others like theirs. But I think I`ll learn to live without them.
