Really disappointed,
While watching the news tonight (11 pm), an actual Chevy HHR commercial came on. But, they showed a Sunburst Orange vehicle (discontinued for 2009). They also highlighted the on dash cubby and the PAL.
I mean, come on, at least give us a current HHR model in your advertising. The commercial was a SoCal Chevy sponsored ad.
Except for the 2008 Super Bowl ad that a college student came up with in an advertising competition, this is the only TV commercial that I have seen highlighting our pride and joy.
You all remember the ad where the, again, Sunburst Orange HHR was stopped at a traffic light and the crowd went wild and did the cheap imitation of a lap dance all over the car?
Who knows how many more HHR's could be sold if they would just advertise.
Okay, I'm done venting.

I'm not seeing many car commercials at all any more. But, the HHR has been in many since it came on the market in late 2005. Remember the one where all the guys come over and start washing it? Most memorable was the guy in the speedo! There also was a flying HHR in another commercial.

Hey Mike--I saw the same commercial too last week and thought it was odd that they were using old stock footage of a discontinued color. Good commercial, but a bit misleading.
I have seen A LOT of HHR's on the road--in particular Long Beach seems to have the motherlode! I saw about 10 HHr's from a silver SS to the elusive Daytona Blue in the span of 30 minutes from UCI to 'State (405/22).
Oddly, no white ones.
My dealer in Orange seems to have almost every color right now and out in front (next to the Corvette's!)
Better then nothing I guess!

I dont' remember that commercial. I think its kind of cool for 2 years ago. It ends with an HHR.

Then there was the A&E TV show 'The Cleaner' where they actually had an HHR in the show.
