Sellin HHRs to College Students
Our local paper reported on 10 college students doing a project to sell the HHR and Cobalt to fellow students. I directed them to this website to find out all the good things we've written about the HHR.
They plan to produce a commercial, with Chevy having full approval, which will be aired on websites like MySpace and YouTube. The theme of the commercial will be the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." My boys love that movie. Sounds like a great concept!
Sorry, I can't link you to the article as our local paper charges for access. Let me know if anyone sees the commercials.

Is there alot of HHRs in FWB? My Inlaws have a condo in Niceville (Blue Water Bay). The family and I try to get down there at least once a year. Didn't see very many in August when we were down there.

No, there's very few down here. I've seen an burnt orange one twice last week. It's hard to tell if the owner lives here or is just a tourist. I know there are 2 Chevy dealers within 30 miles and they only have a few on their lots at any one time.
I drove all the way to Gainesville and back in August and didn't see a single one on I-10. They don't know what they're missing!

Here's the update. According to this website http://www.edventurepartners.com/aboutUs/saa.asp the commercial will run during the Super Bowl.
UWF team wins Chevy competition
FORT WALTON BEACH — A University of West Florida student marketing team, Nautical Promotions, won first place for its work in the Chevrolet Marketing Scholastic Achievement Award Competition.
The team, comprised of students enrolled in the Integrated Marketing Communications course at the Fort Walton Beach campus, developed a campaign for Chevrolet’s new HHR and Cobalt vehicles.
Working with Preston Hood Chevrolet, the students conducted research, held an event on the Okaloosa-Walton College campus in Niceville and designed advertising tools to promote the vehicles.
The UWF team beat out 10 other college teams for the honor. Four of its members traveled to Atlanta in December with instructor Susan Shaw to meet with Chevrolet and General Motors executives.
The students presented their campaign and received a $1,500 check that will be used to create a student marketing and public relations organization at the UWF Emerald Coast campus.

Ok, I think I'm confusing things. There will be a student-created ad during the Super Bowl per this website http://chevycollegead.com/. But I think UWF only won a marketing award. Watch the Daily Show to see a preview.
