I can't believe about that hot rod is:
With its 2.0L, E85-fueled, Ecotec four prominently displayed, it managed to attract some curious looks. Knowing that little four-banger uses GM's Performance Parts Stage III package and a giant turbo to pump out 500 HP
That is

I am amazed at the comeback of the skinny tires on the rat rod's these days. This car has to be squirrelly as hell to drive. However if it has 500hp it would be squirrelly no matter what tires it has on.

More hitting the Web, if you dig!
Godfather, out of ATL, seems to build a HHR, each year, yet to see any parts from them, and really want the lower grill, they use, seen it on all their custom HHR's!
Read about some it:

It looks like they used alot of the parts off the "old" blue one they did last year. It's a shame that they tore that car apart....It must be nice to have lots of money and sponsors that give you stuff for free.....but I must say that it does look nice. Are the side "panels" painted on or are they some sort of stainless pieces?.....BTW....I would kill to have the interior painted like that insted of the pebble finish....JMO......

.

2 Years ago, was the Aqua, Woodie, one, and looking at the pics of this build, it is in the background of one of the pictures. It was the one on Ebay several times, but I don't recall it selling.

Last year, I remember a Black/Silver Two Tone, with beltline flames, was another one, getting old don't remember, if they had another there.

I would not assume they tore others apart. At the site, there is some accesories, available, but it all just add on from other companies, nothing made by them, or the matching stock lower grill (ha)!

I don't really understand, why they focus on the HHR, when I visited the shop, once, 1st year, the store personel, had no clue of their HHR. Other than the HHR, does lend itself to a cool custom!!!
