I'm going to make a quick post, to update on Sindys trek. I have a couple of pics, but I'll put those up in the next post. I gotta resize them and deal with my slow as molasses rural dial-up connection.

She followed me back to I-70 because it's hard to find from my house, we said our goodbyes and she hit the turnpike. She should be just south of Topeka right now. From there she'll head south.

I had a great time, and I hope Sindy did too. She called me when she got in my area and i went to meet her, and arrived at almost exactly midnight. This is one New Years Eve i won't forget. She was tired from her long day on the road, we got up this morning and had a great time talking. It seems like the conversation was pretty much nonpstop.

Stubby found a small strip of snow on my deck which had enough snow for one snow ball for him. Pic later.

Anyway, she said she slept good and she's back on the road, hopefully feeling refreshed.

More power to you Sindy, thanks for everything.

Ok, gonna make an attempt at posting a couple of pics that Sindy took.

Sindy, Me & of course Stubby

Stubby, looking for a snowball fight. Unfortunately, he's holding all the snow that was left, giving him a great advantage.

At 4:30pm central time, I talked to Sindy just to see how she was doing and she has broken off of her planned route and is heading for the Colorado border in SW Kansas. She said she's talked to some locals who had just come from CO and they said the roads in the area are clear, though there is snow on the ground.

She said to say that she's doing great and having fun.

She has a great story about her and Stubby and snow angles and a policewoman. She'll post it later.
