"Smart" cars are on the way imports from Europe. Just seen something about these on the local news so I had to search for them. Ugly looking things if you ask me, and cost is about 25,000 for them.

Mercedes already has something similar to this that has been out for a couple of years now. I can't remember the name to save my life, but I saw one on the hwy once. It's basically a high powered golf cart. I remember I was on the very right lane, and this guy in this huge pick up was on the very left. This little thing passed right between us in the middle lane going around 80. The guy in the pick up and I turned to each other and we just laaaauuughed laughed laughed.

 

Yeah, This one and The Mercedes are the same thing. And it's more than a High powered Golf Cart. That's actually one of the most safe cars on the road, I'll have you know. They have what's called a Tridion safety cell that is so tough, It takes 95% of the impact, During a wreck. That and airbags out the yazoo, And Aluminum tubing in the sides,Make it the safest car in the world IN MY BOOK. As soon as they open a dealership around me, I'm buying it, If I have the cash.

The name is Smart

The one dbarberaz mentioned is the Smart Fortwo. I want the Smart Forfour, Or the Smart Roadster. Either one will do though, As I plan on loading it with performance parts from Brabus.

 

Looks cute......sort of like one of those urban whatchamacallits that GM built a few years ago.

 

The Smart is definitely a cool vehicle. I could see "Smart Races" being a stadium event!

It's always interesting to think about what the future holds, but vehicleslike this will require a major redsign of our roadway systems to prevent them "interacting" with full-size vehicles - that could be nasty!

 

Those things are pimp, But I like the Smart better. Smart races would be SICK!
