So who paid over $3.00 a gallon for gas yet?

No matter what you paid it is a rip off.
Now we all will agree with that, but have you ever thought about it.
You pull up to the pump and pay $2.50 a gallon. Later during the day the cost on the open market for oil goes up from 60.00 to 61.00 a barrel. So the gas station runs out and rise the price up 2.55 a gallon. Well that gas in his tank he already paid for. Then he gets the new shipment and has to rise the cost again. So if you think about it the price got bumped up, before the oil even was off the ship. Then that gas that was on the ship that cost 61.00 a barrel, the gas station then bumps that up to 2.60 and it goes on like that. But they do not lower the price till they get the cheaper barrels into the station.
Dollar amounts only make up as an example.

I paid $2.93 on Friday. I did see a Mobil station in Bloomfield, Ct at $2.99 Friday. Ya know, GW is supposed to upset over the prices skyrocketing, yet, isn't that how his family makes money? Oil???? I bet he's in a real rush to check things out.
