I paid 2.69 9/10th on 4/15, cost me $41.50 for 15.282gals (87 octane btw) highest I had to pony up for the HHR....now my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500HD crew cab, last Oct I had a few $70+ fill-ups...was sad the day I traded it in for my HHR but I knew in the long run it was the best thing to do...

Average (not on base you lucky sob) is like 2.75 for in the city. Some are still at 2.65, but they are the the 3rd world country looking gas stations. (not the people, the place) i dont wanna put rust in my tank. I'll pay the extra 10 cents. I'm already paying out the behind whats the difference.

1.10 a litre sounds better though.
Just wait until it is sold by the QUART in the US. So when the price does make it to 4.00/gal, the gas stations could put up signs reading only 1.00/qt. I bet the first station to do that would sell out by the end of the day.

The first time I drove to Canada I was wondering why their gas was so cheap compared to America. At first I was thinking they sold it by the gallon just like in America then it dawned on me they use the metric system and I read the gas signs a little better.

Just passed a Chevron gas station during lunch hour, and it is now $3.29 for premium in Fremont, California.

I suppose we should be lucky we are not in Canada....
