So who paid over $3.00 a gallon for gas yet?

I paid $2.88 a gal last night on post. I saw gas for $2.87 off-post as I drove home. I love how AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Service) says they save you money everyday, when I can find products off post-cheaper. Plus, you have to figure that they aren't paying state / local taxes on their product and still selling it at the same price, someone's going to get promoted when the look at the extra revenue.

Had to Stop at 50 Dollars
Paid 1.05 a liter on the weekend. In USD factoring exchange rate of 13 cents on the dollar and US Gallon to Liter the cost per gallon is 3.45 USD in Canada.
Needles to say I had to stop filling at 50.00 dollars becuse I had just filled my wife's MPV up and had to stop at 75 dollars (Canadian )
Dosen't matter where you are North or South OPEC has left nothing but air in our wallets and less money to customize our rides

Everything is so ass backwards when it comes to this kind of stuff. Don't they realize that by raising the prices, people are going to stop buying gas because they will no longer afford it, but then they'll just raise the prices again to try to cover for losses. However, that'll cause even more people not to buy gas because unable to afford it. There's going to be so many gas runs that the local law enforcement is not going to be able to handle it all. We'll start seeing a record high in identity theft and credit card theft with people using them to fill up their cars. Auto thefts will go up and will no longer be looking at the cars that bring in the most money at the chop shop, but will be targeting the ones with the most gas in the tank, which means more carjackers camping out at gas stations. This world will become chaos! Ok...maybe a little over the top. lol....Something has to be done though. Literally everything goes up when gas price rises. Its just one huge horrendous domino effect. Bring on Mr. Fusion!

Who could stop buying gas because of it's price? That's where gas companies have you by the balls because it is impossible to stop buying gas. Not only does my vehicle require it but so does my house. I know they are not the same type of fuel but there is no way possible to avoid paying fuel companies in my case.

True you can't stop buying it but, at same price you will have to give up something else (extra meals out, new clothes, ect) at the point the gas companies will realize they've screwed up. I saw on the news in Omaha, NE this past weekend some people are having to pawn items just to be able to buy gas. What's worse than that is that they showed someone who mows lawns pawning his lawn mower.

Ouch. Last night they had a local contractor on the local news talking about how bad it is for him because he owns 14 trucks and each truck goes through like $125 in gas per day. He was blaming his slowly going out of buisness and $75,000 in credit debt on the gas industries. He was asking for a nationwide boycott of gas for a whole week. I don't think that could ever happen and I also think he was blaming the gas companies for a little too much for his businesses demise. Maybe the senates inquisition into gas prices will bring some relief. I kind of find it odd that gas prices have almost doubled in like ten years. Talk about inflation!
