Now, listen guys, we`re talking about a HHR (need I remind you), and it`s all about having FUN, right.?
So what if a guy decides to go a little over the posted limit, I mean, if caught some kindly old judge will realize that it`s a HHR and give a pass, or slap on the wrist.

I agree BB that fun is fun...I have in the past been guilty myself of both two and four wheel criminal behaviour. But a 3,000lb vehicle doing excessive speeds is a deadly weapon to the same degree as one of my firearms.Only the person at the wheel or on the trigger makes them safe to operate.

Ok, I confess, that pic was from another HHR owner, a law enforcer type no less.
The 'Beautiful One' only cruises and has only about 16,000mi..
And I stop for pix, which by the way are much clearer.
I had the same reaction to the pic as you, but the member thought it was a trophy type thing...

I think it's someone who shouldn't be on the road if they're going to endanger everyone else around them. Just plain stupid.

/\ I agree. Even I learned my lesson and no longer go more then 5 over the speed limit anymore. That wreck I had scared me straight. People, just slow down.

That`s my first thought also, but unfortunately, the driver is still on the road...

You get into 5th amendment issues when government agencies start making motions to seize personal property through forfeiture etc. I've been a police officer going on 19 yrs and I have problems with some forfeiture situations. This is one of them.

But there are enough American Citizens who don`t care about losing a few rights, in the name of safety or National Security.
69% of the posters on this thread prove that.

I think you would`ve gotten a different response, if the ride being crushed had been a HHR.
I read sob stories and love stories on this site all the time, heck some people care more about the ride than the driver, "I hope the HHR is ok, what kind of person would put a ride in harms way like that?"
