Arrow To those affected by the tornado outbreaks.

To those members and their families who have been affected by the ongoing tornado outbreaks in the past few days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and also with the first responders.

When it's safe to do so, check in with us here so we know that you're OK.

It wasn't too bad here in Tennessee. At least not as bad as they thought it was going to be. Mainly just some thunderstorms here. Unfortunately I can't say the same for those neighbors to my south in Mississippi and Alabama as they got hit pretty hard with these violent storms. As Mike said my thoughts and prayers go out to those who were affected by these storms and their families and the first responders. I just hope that everyone who was in the path of these storms is okay.

Missed the tornados down here but unfortunately we are now dealing with this historic flooding.
My rain gauge topped out at 9 inches within 8 hrs ! But then, some really hard rain continued for about 10 more hours. The local news said the area I'm in received anywhere from 20-26 inches in a 24 hr period!
This amount of rain is just unbelieveable.
No real damage or lingering flooding to my property but my neighbors to the East on the river aren't as lucky. Many homes, business' and cars flooded.

Glad to hear that all of y'all have come through unscathed so far, we were straddled by storms but no serious damage or flooding in the Charlotte area.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said of Eastern NC, ten confirmed twisters on Tuesday alone.

No casualties reported, but the folks to our South and West got hammered.

Like Firemangeorge said the amount of rain in lower Ala. and the Fla. panhandle was unreal !! Pensacola towards Defuniak Springs Fl. was a lake!! And the rivers around Tallahassee are 3 times as wide as they normally are. And the lightning !! 6000+ strikes in 15 min. in the panhandle along I-10 according to the Weather channel. Only 2 tornadoes reported in the panhandle with just a little damage and no injuries. And a 60% chance of more T-storms today, anybody got a boat they can spare?

Tornados hit just a mew miles up the road in Brandon, MS. It destroyed a mobile home park. It destroyed or damage 37 trailers. About a dozen people hurt. My family and I are fine. Just high wind and lots or rain.

Having good thoughts for all you people in the ravaged area. Be careful and safe.

Side bar.......wonder if there will be more vehicles sold that have hidden store damage (like the last big one).

And....I wish we had some of that rain here. Looks like it will be a hot dry summer (we're already more than 2 inches behind).
