Isn't Kyle Busch in a Toyota? Last I checked his Camry was tearing a new one in all the other guys in their Big 3 rides

Didn't really care for the guy until this year....out of anyone racing now, he most is like Dale Earnhardt Sr...drives and races hard, not well liked and shows some of the same rough driving habits as #3 did.

Heck, I might have found a new driver.....he needs to go to RCR though lol

He sure as heck is more like the Earnhardt then Lil E ever will be

I sort of agree with you on this. I'd enjoy NASCAR races much more if they actually ran "STOCK" cars instead of race cars made to resemble a stock cars on the outside! As far as Toyotas are concerned, I wouldn't care one way or the other if they were in there, as long as they were right out of the showroom too, like all the rest!

Bring back the real NASCAR and keep out the foreign junk.
There hasn't been a "stock" car in NASCAR racing since the '50s. Teams have always pulled the cars apart to lighten them, pull more power out, and make them safer at speed. Bill France wanted more convertibles at the first Daytona 500, so he paid owners to cut the roofs off of perfectly good coupes! Smokey Yunick actually "made" a slightly smaller car once, so templates were introduced. Teams would dip the bodies in acid until the sheetmetal was so thin it was transluscent!

Jimmie leads the way in his Chevrolet. in Week 3 of the chase. Go #48

I think Kyle in his Camary LE is in 12 place(last in the chase). The kid needs to grow up.

Jimmie still first in the Chase. Edwards takes out his whole team (#99,16,17) at the race. Last week the slide, this week the big one.
Go #48

I freakin' hate Toyotas but I respect them. Toyota makes some great products, I'll give them that but the nationalistic gearhead that I am...I wouldn't drive a Toyota if it was given to me free. I'd sell it and buy a Chevy.

What having Toyota in Cup (or Nationwide or Truck) allows Chevy, Ford or Dodge to do is beat them fair/square on our home turf.

What'd be even cooler is if Cup still ran that exibition race over in Japan and we went over there and the 48, 88 and 24 beat all the Toyotas.

I use to be really big into Nascar. Partly I spent a lot of time Down south and at the Dirt track. It really became to much of a Business. I knew all alont it was a business but not its gotta to a point where its not even fun anymore.

As far as Toyota,Ford,Chevy,Dodge go.. Doesn't even matter anymore all it is decals to say the least. All have different Power plants however.

Has far as Who's better then another, Its all about Power Plant and Driver now days. I use to follow Nascar every year up untill really this year. Have no idea just lost interest.

I remember reading an article on Smokey Yunik, they say he had a perfect 15/16ths replica of a Chevelle for one race. It didn't fit the template, but a stock one didn't either. They used to put an air hose to the fuel tank and expand it, then run 1" fuel hose all through out the car, was good for a few extra gallons. He says there wasn't a car he built that didn't have 100 pounds of bondo on the bottom to make it go though the air better. All kinds of venting in the car to make it stick better. As Smokey used to say, it wasn't exactly legal, but it wasn't exactly illegal either. If it wasn't specific to the rule book, they played with it.
