I have heard lots of complaints with verizion towers. I have to use them for my work cell also.

I will keep my Alltel, thank you. 9+ years and still a happy customer.

True, I am a happy Verizon customer.... been with them since before they became Verizon... (AirTouch)..... You would think tho, that they would boost power to areas along borders that many US citizens frequent across or live near.... I'm sure the FCC has power restrictions that the Mexico Towers dont....

I have had US Cellular (used to be Cellular One) for 11 years. I am happy with their service and reception, seem to get reception pretty much anywhere I go, it may be bad if I am down in a valley or someplace where there is very few towers around, they do have quite a few dropped calls though, that is my biggest complaint. I am happy with them, and have heard from coworkers about the service they get elsewhere.

Called Verizon for the umpteenth time, explained the whole thing all over again.... was told I should be credited, (even tho the guy didnt sound that convincing ). But that the Credit would have to be approved by HIS (a supervisor) Supervisor. ........ arrrggghhhhhhhh STRESS METER PEGGED !!!!

Keep bugging them, or get the name and number of the supervisor. I have stated in an earlier post my problem with them, and finally had to file an Informal Complaint with the FCC about them. That got them going and got the problem resolved.

JimZ.....

I'm sure you thought of this....

But, if you can't settle this with Verizon very soon it may reflect into your credit rating/report. Then you'll have that hassle to play with.!!!

Go the the FCC web site, you can file an Informal complaint with them. Thats how I got Verizons attention, and got my problem resolve. To bad it took me about 6 months, but with the FCC involved, it was over quick.
