Finishing off the 8 records I got in trade for the crappy 45's that I got for free.
Pink Floyd ~ Meddle (1971)
I've been using "The ZZ Top 6-pack" 3 CD set since it first came out.
It's so molested that I forgot how GREAT the originals are.
ZZ Top ~ Fandango! (1975)
ZZ Top ~ Texas (1976)
I was enjoying The Top so much I had to jam these 2 reissues that I got a few weeks ago.
They sound friggin sweet for reissues and especially good for WB.
ZZ Top's First Album (1970)
Compare the (perfect) Bar-B-Q on LP to The 6-Pack's sliced/diced version for the most stunning bad editing job I've heard on a remaster.
ZZ Top ~ Big River Mud (1972)

Part 2 of my Neil Young-athon today
Time Fades Away (1973)
On the Beach (1974 brown label promo)
Tonight's the Night (1975 black! label promo)
Zuma (1975)
The Stills-Young Band ~ Long May You Run (1976)
American Stars 'N Bars (1977)
Comes a Time (1978)
I needed a break from the Young-athon after those last 3 so "Now for something completely different" - MPFC
David Bromberg (1971)
Jimi Hendrix ~ Axis: Bold as Love (1967)

I went through my recent purchases to compare doubles with replacements. etc...
I found a nice Capricorn to replace my Polydor
The Allman Brothers Band ~ Brothers and Sisters (1973)
This NM copy is better than the VG+ that I had of
Deep Purple ~ Fireball (1971)
I found a near perfect replacement cover for my NM early pressing of
Led Zeppelin III (1970)
Slightly scratchy but unacceptable sounding, I'll continue to use my NM Chrysalis copy until I find a mint Reprise of
Jethro Tull ~ Aqualung (1971)
Pristine copy of
The Jimi Hendrix Experience ~ Experience [Original Soundtrack] (1971 Import)
I have happy ears

The other day I listened to a bunch of records that I never heard before.
I got them cheap, included in large collections and had to see if I want to keep them.
A dealer was coming over to buy a batch of my **** so I was under the gun to listen fast.
David Bowie ~ Space Oddity (1969)
Too scratchy - gone
David Bowie ~ Diamond Dogs (1974)
It's alright but not a keeper
The Alan Parsons Project ~ Tales of Mystery and Imagination: Edgar Allan Poe (1976)
Very clever - good stuff - It's a keeper
Johnny Winter ~ The Progressive Blues Experiment (1969)
Scratchy but he didn't get it for $1.50 I have the reissue called Austin, Texas (1972) to play until I get a better copy of TPBE
Supertramp ~ Crisis? What Crisis? (1975)
Not my usual fare but most Supertramp is good for an occasional listen - Good light stuff - Keeper
Supertramp ~ Brother Where You Bound (1985)
Not exactly Crime Of The Century (1974) or Breakfast in America (1979) but not bad, I'm keeping it

My first $30 record
Black Label Society ~ Skullage (2009 2LP)
fun soundtrack for hockey but it told me my stereo isn't loud enough I'll see if Pantera agrees
Grand Funk Railroad ~ Phoenix (1972)

Looking at the Neil Young, do you have Trans? A very strange Neil Young albumn. I love it - I have a French edition of the CD (as far as I know, they never issued a US CD of it). I agree with the assessment of Edger Allan Poe - nice, and a good addition to such things as Journey To The Center Of The Earth and Six Wives (e.g., a theme albumn). How about Jan Hammer's The First Seven Days?

Whole Lotta Ten Years After
Stonedhenge (1969)
Ssssh (1969)
Cricklewood Green (1970)
Watt (1970)
A Space in Time (1971)
Rock & Roll Music to the World (1972)
Goin' Home! - Their Greatest Hits (1975) - Only played Woodchopper's Ball & Goin' Home. I already played the rest.
