Uh, no, I mean RETURN to the Center of the Earth. Rick Wakeman did a 1999 sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth. It's very interesting, and his lightning finger work is even faster than it was "back in the day." An amazing player.

Hockey Day In America on CBS today so out with 4 of yesterday's $1.75 hard rock finds:
Nazareth ~ Hair Of The Dog (1975)
Montrose ~ Self Titled (1973)
April Wine ~ Harder.....Faster (1980)
Def Leppard ~ Pyromania (1983)
If you're a King Crimson fan and you've never heard April Wine's version of 21st Century Schizoid Man - find it and crank it.
Any band that can pull off a great version of it is worth listening to and AW ~ H...F is a great hard rock album worth having

I'm an ELP fan, so am a fan of King Crimson's "Court Of The Crimson King" which "21st Century Schizoid Man" is on. Greg Lake was part of King Crimson for this album. Therefore I will check out this version of "Schizoid Man" - thanks for the suggestion!

Rory Gallagher ~ Take It Easy Baby (Springboard 1976) - Traditional guitar blues
Rory Gallagher ~ Stage Struck ~ (Chrysalis 1980)
He must have listened to a lot of Ted Nugent & Pat Travers since 1976 because this is guitar hero stuff more like Pat Travers than that Take It Easy Baby album.
John Mayall ~ The Turning Point (Polydor 1969) - Classic "low volume blues"
