King Crimson ~ Islands (1971) - Took a nap - outbox

King Crimson ~ Lizard (1970) - Played the hell out of this one in my teens - good, strange stuff

Faces ~ Long Player (1971)

Rod Stewart ~ Gasoline Alley (1970)

Mouth & MacNeal ~ How Do You Do? (1972)

This was the first cassette I bought at a store.
I got a dozen from RCA tape club previously but I actually payed money for this one heh.
It's a fun record with lots of personality.

Not much info @ wikipedia or allmusic so here's off the back cover

Played Yes ~ Fragile (1972) & Steve Howe ~ Beginnings (1976) while watching Nature's Most Amazing Events on HD Theater

It's about time I found a perfect copy of Fragile to upgrade with.
The Steve Howe Beginnings album is OK for $2 but his "The Steve Howe Album" is amazing.

MOWGLI!!!! Wow what a cool collection. I've been going thru some of my albums and ripping them into MP3's but man it's a SLOW process, but on the upside, one gets to rediscover a lot of stuff they missed years ago.

So far I've been cherry-picking some of my favorite albums like:

http://www.allmusic.com/album/choice...fanytime-r9969
http://www.allmusic.com/album/nightf...o-venus-r31200 (ok, it`s disco LOL)
http://www.allmusic.com/album/not-fragile-r1110 - awesome album
http://www.allmusic.com/album/dream-of-a-child-r34434
http://www.allmusic.com/album/made-in-japan-r1808736
http://www.allmusic.com/album/ogdens...e-flake-r18273

and the list goes on, and will for at some time at this rate. LOL

I have a pretty good collection of 60`s 70`s rock with a lot of early Fleetwood Mac stuff from their British Blues days, most of the Pink Floyd stuff from their early days, some not so popular stuff such as Shawn Phillips Colloration album http://www.allmusic.com/album/collaboration-r46618 and all of his early stuff.

Also I am looking at a pile of reggae albums to convert - must be about 300 or so of those.

But with the amount of time it takes to rip them (it takes about an hour per album, including time to name them, and tag them properly, and file them away on my server), I realistically will only do my favs - but ............ sure would hate to lose them, so will see how many I get done in the end.

but thanks for this thread - it`s helped keep me enthused about going thru the albums here.

cheers
