Charlie was a Squirl monkey. Small greenish in color. He was my hubbys child hood pet. Charlie was allowed to roam the neighborhood in Montery Park California.
He liked to eat hard candies. It was great giving him Zotz candies. They have carbionated crystals inside of them. When moisture hits 'em, they fizz. Charlie would lick the candy to the fizzy center, screetch/screem then shrow the candy on the ground, he would get SOooo upset! He would fall for our tricks every time!
Charlie hated most cats and would attack them!
We moved 100 miles away and Charlie stayed in Monterey Park and continued to roam the neighborhood. It was later said that animal control picked him up and found him a new home.
