Besides the talented spiders....... 
2 Dogs...... Koa and Thor, normally referred to as "The Boys". Koa is a Brindle mix, probably mostly Boxer but not the head, he looks nothing like a Boxer in the face. Thor is mostly Akita and possibly wolf according to the vets...... Koa was a rescue and one day up in the mountains he got bored and went and found a friend, So Thor is Koa's dog.... not mine.
7 Cats...... Mister, Spooky, Lil'Boy and Lil'Girl and the 3 new kittens Oak, Ash, and Thorn. Except for Mister they are all black...... Mister is a 30 pound Orange tiger.
2 Birds..... Erin the Crow and Spots the 15 year old European Starling..... and Yes! Erin talks and comes out of her cage when she wants.

We love dogs, but we travel too much at this point in our lives to care for one. We like cats too, so we got one to take along with us on road trips.
Mao, our siamese cat is pretty self sufficient, but talks alot. She also opens latched doors in the house inward in order to go from room to room. We have lever type doorknobs which makes it easier for her to "jump and pull".
She sleeps on the dash of our motorhome for miles upon miles, but watch out when you turn on the defroster fan (my wife yells at me when I do it, but it's really funny to watch). The cat freaks out when she feels the air from the windshield ducts hitting her (doesn't hurt her in the least, though).
