My best friend passed in her sleep sun. morn. , I stayed up with her till 1:30 am ( Knowing she would have to be put down soon )
I woke up at 7 , And she was gone .

I can't express how my wife , 2 daughters and myself feel .
Poppy our yellow lab lived 11 years and 6 months to the day. I'm not sure if i will ever be the same.
There is a hole in my heart.

 

Batman. Sorry for the loss. I know the hole it leaves in your heart when you loose one of your family members.
We lost our 2 dogs within the last 9 months. One 16 years old, one 15. I still find myself looking for them when I pull in the driveway.

 

We got a 8 year old pug (Mowgli / Moe), who still moves like a puppy, and just rescued a kitten a few months ago (Monty)...

Pepper had to be put to sleep a few weeks short of age 17 and Max is 11 now
i also have a albino corn snake that is a year old and name is Jake
