As long as it has a good bass line or drum beat, I will crank it. Rock-to-Redneck, and Harmony-to-HipHop. Doesn't make a hill of beans to me. My kids even force me to roll with Disney Channel stuff.

Mostly rock here, from Zeppelin to Metallica to Korn to Floyd, you all know what I am talking about, like a lil bit of rap, and lil bit country too.

judging from my sound system, i listen to alot of hip-hop/pop music...
might as well, in order to get the most out of my system...
other than that i'll get into my metal phase, everything from the hair metal days to now...

I'm a big Gourds fan.
Going to see them this Sunday in NYC, then here in Philly on Monday.

Anyone that likes or thinks they might like blues should try Johnny Winter.
If you like blistering guitar jams and rowdy rock n roll you'll probably like Johnny Winter - Live Bootleg Series.
I noticed Vol. 1 (180 Gram 1/2 Speed Master Audiophile Vinyl) at Newbury Comix last night so I checked TPB and snagged the first 4 Volumes.

They're official releases, sound great and would make a perfect introduction for a first time JW experience.
I can vouch for Volume 1 complete. I rocked it full-tilt-boogie in my car tonight.

There are 6 volumes and 4 of them are in good moving torrents if that's where you get your music.

Here's a link to them at Amazon if you're interested http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ries&x=20&y=13

I almost always get my CDs & books from the other sellers @ Amazon, new for much cheaper than Amazon itself.
I can vouch for 2 sellers - importcds & blowitoutahere - I've bought stuff from them and they're both cheap & fast

I have no involvement with JW or Amazon or anything. Just a heads up for a hard rocking real-deal guitar slinging bluesman

EDIT - If you're already a JDW fan - This series isn't just another mess of repackaged bull****.
It's a great release with blistering performance along Texas International Pop Festival 69 standards.
What? You've never heard this http://www.vinylrecords.ch/winter/Di..._texasint.html bootleg? You need it.

I love good Jazz, Big Band and the 40's. I like Ch# 4, 5, 6, 7, 64, 73, and salsa. on XM Radio. I would be lost without XM.

Lately it's been surf revival (like Slacktone and Laika And The Cosmonauts) and rock-a-billy (like Reverend Horton Heat). I often listen to local, unsigned artists, like Paul Galaxy and the Galactix here in the Denver metro. On XM I listen to classic rock, jazz, and classical. On FM I listen to NPR to see if the world has come to an end before I bother to go to work in the morning
