What was your first car
I know there was a simialar thread, but that was for your first new car. I am asking what was your first car, and if you remember what did you pay for it.
1967 Mustang (bought it in 1973)
289 High Performance
4 speed
Green (the same color as the Bullit car)
cream color interior
Price: $1.00 (bought it from my brother, it needed a new A-frame, and the passanger side floor pan repaired)

Such a sad tale...
Daddy was a dealer, so we never had our own cars, mom & I -- we drove something until it got snatched, sometimes even when we were in the grocery store - to show a customer. I actually got married before I got a car, and it was hubby's...finally in 1976, my first new car, a GRANADA. Silver w/dark red inside, so luxurious, and I was in heaven.

Mine was a 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
with a 429 ( Yes GM did make a 429 at that time). It was white with white and black leather interior, in beautiful shape, just a couple ripped stiches from sun rot on the drivers shoulder area from the sun beating on it for almost 30 years. I got it in 1992 or 1993 I believe for 600.00. I had it for about a year when I raced my buddies 76? Cordoba with it and smoked him. we got up to around 110mph and when I got home and turn ed it off, it never started again. Big mystery, I sold it with a froze or blown motor to another friend for 800.00 and he put a new motor in it and it only ran for about a day when it started acting funny and evenually died again. It still sits in the back of his dads house not running. I guess I must have pissed it off. I kicked myself in the butt on a daily basis for selling it (I loved that car) until I found this baby....
I lowered it and put on some 18" 100 spoke wires and a loud system because I was in a car club with it and now I want to lift it back up and try to go towards a muscle car look, but not redneckish, just a very small rack and some modern rims.
Well theres my story, hope you enjoyed it

A big hell no on the 13's bro, I roll on grown rims only 18 and over (except on the HHR, my minivan, the cavalier, the honda, and the lo-lo bike) :) . I did think about it but it is so low it would sit on the frame.
