What was your first car
#21
First car was a 1993 Cadillac Seville STS, Metallic Green with tan leather. Only paid $2200 for it with my own money. It had the 4.6L 32v Northstar V8 motor, so it had a little get up and go, you know, sleeper speed. I was knockin ricers out right and left, and some guys who thought their trucks were fast. I only ever got it up to 130 MPH on the highway, though. It was still going, but I didn't need a ticket
Before I sold it, I had to replace the intake manifold and the fuel filter. Then right after I sold it the starter went out on it.
I miss the power, but not the PITA...

My first car was a 67 rs/ss camaro conv.when I was 14 yrs old.I traded my race go cart and dirt bike for it and it ran.The top was pretty good and the body was great just needed paint.I wish I could do that now.
When I was 16 I had a 69 camaro ,a 54 ford f1oo w/ a 351 cleveland .lowered with flames and wide whites and a 77 vw rabbit.
since my first car I have owned 88 cars and trucks. Most have been show cars

1976 Honda Civic 1.5L 5spd in bright yellow with no A/C. It ran great and It looked pretty good from 10 feet but it was a rusty mess underneath. The floorboards in the back rusted through and required a quick fix involving sheet metal and a rivet gun. Everytime it rained then froze my lock cylinders would freeze solid. One time I had to crawl in from the hatch and warm the car up to deice the locks. Looking back it was a death trap. Tiny car, thin sheet metal and rust.
That was the first and last import that I have ever owned.

My Dad bought me a 1948 Plymouth Business Coupe in the Winter of 1951/52 so I'd have a way to get to work. Seems like it was about $400.00. Then I went to a '48 Buick, a '51 Ford, and a '53 Studebaker over the next 3 years. These were all used cars. Traded the Studebaker for my first "New" car, a 1957 Renault Dauphine!
