1982 Firebird. I loved that car. First year in the new style with the pop up headlights. Haven't a clue what it cost. It was a graduation gift from my parents.

At 14 (in 1979), bought a 1966 Mustang notchback for $200. I paid for it with money made over time by mowing lawns, doing odd jobs, etc (but my mom helped me quite a bit by giving me a few $$ to fulfill my dream). It was black w/ white interior, had a 200ci straight 6 w/auto, unknown brand of mag wheels, 8-track player, and air shocks. Spent the whole summer fixing it up by doing cleaning, painting, and mechanical work. I loved that car

First car was a Hand me down 1965 Chevy Corvair 4 door with a 95 HP air coold flat 6 and a 2 speed powerglide Automatic.. Bronze in color....
then my dad took it away from me and gave it to my older brother who was married and his renault blew up on him... He drove that Corvair for 3 more years and even drove it to California and back from Kentucky.
I ended up getting a brand new bright blue 71 Chevy Vega Hatchback for my High School Graduation. It stickered for $2,200. I kept it 3 years and put over 60,000 miles on that car and then traded it for a 1974 Camaro.

68 Pontiac GTO. Paid $200.00 for it when I was 14 from an old neighbor. Rebuilt the motor with my best friend and his dad (a Pontiac mechanic). Alot of good times were spent in that car, sure wish I could have kept her.
