Let the buyer beware.... of Ebay auctions with wording like this:

"Extremely fashion and new aparent sun roof, made of a sticker that will give any car the image of a real sunroof"

We have a winner, folks.

The questions are the best part. I like how the seller actually seems to take them seriously and tries to provide logical answers. The fact though that the seller has zero feedbacks and the buyer only has one leads me to think the whole thing may be bogus.
As they say...image is everything.

I'm thinking of asking him if this will fit on a vehicle that already has a sunroof.

I feel bad because I went back and noticed the auction had ended...so I guess I'll have to use paint for my fake sunroof. I'm going to see if I can get the kind they use in cartoons for when they want a hole to appear.

There's a couple more auctions up, and it looks like they're selling for more than the first one now.

I had thought of this idea years ago.

Is it really worse than a mock convertible?? At least this is easier to reverse if you decide you don't like the look later. Who'll be the first to put this on their HHR and take pics????

Y'know what CrazyBob! You're absolutely correct with your point about mock convertibles. If you really think about it there are probably a lot of fake accents people have used over the years. My particular pet peeve is fake wood dash trim. How about fake port holes or fake hood scoops? The list goes on and on.
