I am going down to the hobby shop, getting a propellor, the longest piece of all-thread I can find, thread the center of the prop, and get it turning smoothly. Then measure wind speed and compare to how long it takes the prop to spin itself along the length of all-thread when facing into the wind.....maybe

It's not a propellor, no more than the rotor on a helicopter is a propeller.

It's a wing, and by spinning it, it creates lift.

Placed horizontally.
