Worst half time show ever?
#11
Or maybe Christian power death metal, or something like that. You know, something that screams AMERICA, like us and shut up!
Real macho stuff, not fay Prince................
But...
At least Prince played power chords and went on with the show in the rain. The worst halftime show I ever saw was that Justin Timberlake garbage with that wardrobe malfunction a couple year's back. All that dry humpin' and carrying on was CRAP., utter garbage. Prince WAS WAY BETTER, and I don't even like Prince.
i kind of respect him more now???
But you are right, I do not associate him with The sport of American footbal

Hate to say it, but when I think football, no one in the music industry comes to mind.
They decided to have a 30 min. half time break, and who needs to hear a 30 min. review from the guys in the booth.
The Marching band was an absolute waste, I don`t know of any song Prince made that required a 100 piece horn section...
All in all it was a nice 1/2 time show... the second half, well that`s another story.

Sorry I was disappointed in watching it.
He slowed down all of his old songs, Purple Rain OMG
I know that we all (most) are getting older, but did he have to
do that to his own songs?
I thought it was good, but not what I was expecting to hear from him.

My wife said "the last thing that goes with football is a scrawny, flitty black guy" - gotta agree with her on that. I'm not sure who the people in charge of the halftime show were focusing their show to, perhaps us older people, but I didn't like prince in the 80's either.

I didn't care at all for the halftime show, but I don't like prince. I think Toby Kieth would be a great halftime performer. It's time we bring some country music to the halftime show. All these rock freaks are getting old.

New stuff like Toby Keith I cannot stand, but I could see him making the halftime show his and doing a great job! Fans would love it. Prince,.. huh?? Why??
Hey, did Garth Brooks ever do a halftime show?

1993 Garth Brooks and Michael Jackson. Seems to me they do a pretty good job of mixing it up year to year
