Your NEW performance cars purchased, the past 6 decades
Funny, how I just bought one new performance car, in each decade...
Doing this thread, as an offshoot of the thread, how you got interested in cars...
The 60's
Still in high school...
The 70's
1974 CUDA 360 4sp with pistol grip shifter, mid 14s
The 80's
1988 5.0 Mustang Sedan, as it was lighter, than the GT, high 13s
The 90's
1998 LS1 Camaro Z/28, high 12's
The 00's
2009 HHR SS automatic, low 12s
The 10's
Hmm, undecided

I get the concept, but I bought mostly 6 month old cars and modified them to be performance cars
60's. 1969 Mustang coupe, tore out the 302 and stuffed in a 428 CJ
70's 1974 Valiant Broham, deep 6'd the slant 6 and transplanted a 440 wedge with a 6 pack
80's. 1983 GMC S15, goodbye 2.8 V6, hello 383 stroker TH 400 combo
I skipped the 90's and onward
If these don't meet criteria let me know and I'll delete the post
