I have 2k till 60k warranty runs out on my 2006 HHT 2LT 2.4. I am going to pay the dealer to look over everything. What types of things might they find. Or does anyone know of parts or items I should tell them to pay attention too?

Belt, brakes, pay attention to brake fluid color (maybe flush it), control arm bushings/sway bar end links and bushings, tie-rod ends for play, wheel bearings, thermostat, intermediate shaft play, cabin air filter, idk... EVERYTHING! lol

 

Also look for leaky struts & rear shocks. Worth checking..

If you have any quirks that you are aware of..

Check all lights/ run, brake & turn. Hi/Low beams. (this you can do to point it out for repair)..

 

I second nacademus list. Most important is check the front suspension - sway bar links and lower control arm bushings especially. If any of your struts or shocks are bad, under warranty GM will only replace the strut or shock that is bad - they will not replace both sides just because one is bad. If you want new shocks or struts I would look other place - might find them less expensive. Make sure they check both half shafts, all of the cv joints, and cv boots for cracks/tears.
