ungrateful?

Oldblue ,
you block me out after you bless me out and not expect me to retaliate?
One thing, the "fresh air" remark I made was toward your helper donbrew. Not you or the other fine people on this site! He is the one who need to retire or go elsewhere! Ever since I started asking questions on here, everyone was being very Nice and answering my questions. Even don, then he started acting like i peed in his Wheaties! This is my 1st HHR that I bought without a manual so I did download one from donbrew and tried to go thru it, finally I found one on Ebay so I could have it in my car and not have to read the small print on my phone! Why do you keep such an arrogant person on this site to help people? All he can say is "CHECK THE MANUAL" some people don't have the time to check. They come on here to find a fast answer and go on. But no not with him. Everybody else helps all they can, why does he have to be such a JERK? If he is tired of answering the same questions over and over well then stay off the site! That is the nature of the beast. He makes your site look bad for newbies. They don't won't to come on here anymore because of his "I'm better than you" answers and the way he talks to people. This is the last post you will ever hear from me, so don't worry about deleting this post. I feel sorry for you for having to cover for him.

I moved this post here so thayt everyone in the future ca see what you are uipset about in context.
Posting a section of the OM is acting like my Wheaties got peed on. You have the time to ask us to read the manual and then complain about it?
You have 2 copies of it how is posting and waiting for an answer quicker?

Well, if telling you to find information in the owners manual is acting like someone peed in his Wheaties, then you don’t know Donbrew.
as with any site , content can be misunderstood and taken out of context.
Donbrew has been on this site, for 13 years, helping members address problems with their HHR’s , anybody have a problem with him, then send me a PM or directly to Donbrew.
Who’s backing away from his own perceptions, you Mike. Thank you for advising me you won’t be back , saves me the time to ban you.

Oh well.
Back to the subject of this topic:
My 2009 defaults to outside (fresh?) air whenever the key's turned off. Every time I get in and start it up, I have to press the button to get it to recirculate. It's a pain but there's no sense in pulling in hot muggy air when the air conditioner is on. It's fine in the winter. I wish it would remember how I had it set when I turned the key off.

For old farts like me I'm glad the light comes on.
Then I don't have to remember.
I also would like it if my fog lights came on when I start my car.
You know, sometimes having to push a button is..........

Because it is always foggy in Phoenix?

There are good safety reasons for the way things operate, but you have to think a little bit. Some are by law.

Like DRL’s and auto canceling turn signals.

Nah. I just like them to be on.
I think they are more likely to be seen than the DRL's.
I do recall however, being in a fog once or twice before.

I don't get it. Are you taking exception to the reasons why? Nobody was making any fun of you. The only joking around was about Lonwane's use of fog lights.
