Stick with the Delco Iridium plugs for the best results, these engines were designed around them, and a few folks have found out the hard way that the engines don't "like" other brands.

The gap should be 0.035 Inches or 0.90 MM, the plugs will be gapped out of the box but it pays to double check them.

I run ngks 2 step colder plugs with a gap of 0.032 and run 26psi of boost with zero KR. They are iridium plugs you shouldnt run anything esle. If I was you get the iridiums delco or ngks anything not iridium shouldn't be in a LNF. The stock gap is 0.035 like 843de said above.

I've got the stock Delcos at .032. I always check. For some reason, I can't get a set that doesn't have one that is off.

You can thank the shipper or a fumble fingered parts store stocker for that, it doesn't take much of a drop to knock the gap out of specs. That why us experienced types and old geezers always check the gaps and never assume.

they are good for 100 000 miles. so wires would come before the plugs needed replacement.

OK. Must have missed something here. I thought our little cars didn't have plug wires.
